A Polícia Rodoviária Federal registrou por volta das 13h30 deste domingo (16) um grave acidente de trânsito no km 100, da BR-222, trecho situado no município de Umirim.

Segundo a PRF, um caminhão com carga de carnes e um carro de passeio se colidiram frontalmente e uma pessoa, ocupante de um dos veículos morreu presa nas ferragens. O outro condutor ficou ferido e foi socorrido pelo SAMU. Chovia no momento do acidente.

Foi necessária uma equipe do Resgate do Corpo de Bombeiros para a remoção do cadáver da vítima fatal das ferragens.

A Perícia Forense esteve no local do acidente para o encaminhamento do corpo da vítima ao núcleo da Pefoce em Fortaleza.

Ainda conforme a Polícia Rodoviária Federal, a carga do caminhão foi saqueada por populares.

A identidade da vítima fatal não foi repassada.
